Frequently asked questions

Pricing, how inspections work, sharing reports, storing documents, and using PropInspect when signal drops.

Pricing

How much does PropInspect cost?

PropInspect is free to start — no credit card or account required. After your free inspection, each additional inspection costs just $0.99. Every feature is available to all users with no subscription or hidden fees.

Is there a monthly fee or subscription?

No. PropInspect has no subscription, no monthly fee, and no annual plan. You pay $0.99 each time you run an inspection, after your free one.

What do I get for free?

Your first inspection is free with every feature included — no credit card and no account required to start. An account is only needed to save your work long-term, manage properties, or collaborate with a team.

Do I need a credit card to start?

No. You can open PropInspect in your browser and start your first inspection immediately. Payment only comes up once you've used your free inspection and choose to run another.

What happens after my free inspection?

Each additional inspection costs $0.99, paid as you go. Nothing renews, nothing auto-charges — you only pay when you choose to run an inspection.

Are any features locked behind a higher price?

No. There are no tiers. Photos, video, notes, offline mode, PDF export, shareable links, and team features are included in every inspection, free or paid. Signed-in users also get up to 5 AI photo analyses per inspection.

Is there a plan for property management companies?

PropInspect is pay-per-inspection for individuals and smaller teams. Custom pricing is available by request for teams with higher inspection volume. If you run weekly inspections across a large portfolio, a subscription-based platform may still fit better.

Using it

Do I need to create an account to use PropInspect?

No. You can create your first inspection immediately without signing up. An account is only needed to save your work long-term, manage properties, or collaborate with a team.

What types of properties can I inspect?

PropInspect supports single family homes, apartments, condos, townhouses, multi-family properties, and commercial properties. You can customize rooms and areas for any property type.

Sharing

Can I share inspection reports with clients or tenants?

Yes. You can generate a shareable link to a read-only version of any inspection report with inline video playback. Recipients can view it without an account. You can also generate downloadable PDF reports.

Documents

Can I store leases and other documents in PropInspect?

Yes. Every property has its own Records & Documents vault for leases, insurance policies, permits, receipts, and warranties. Snap a photo or upload a file, and it's filed to that property and searchable.

Does PropInspect flag leases or policies that are about to expire?

Yes, in the app. Any document with an expiration date is flagged 30 days before it expires, so renewals don't sneak up on you. PropInspect doesn't send email or text reminders.

Offline and devices

Does PropInspect work offline?

Yes, during an inspection. If you lose signal with it open, turn on offline mode and keep taking photos, notes, and video. Tap Sync Now when you're back online. Opening the app and uploading camera-roll videos need a connection.

Do I need to download an app?

No app download is needed. PropInspect works in any modern web browser on phones, tablets, and computers. You can optionally install it to your home screen for a native app experience.

Walk the unit. The report's already done.

Photos, video and notes land in the right room as you go. Share one link before you're back at the office: the repair person sees what to fix, the tenant sees why, the owner sees everything.

  • Done at the door, not at your desk
  • One link for everyone. No account, no app.
  • Dated, room-by-room proof for when the deposit is due
